Creating a Culture of Life
1. Restore faith and revive our Constitutional commitment to freedom of religion and the free exercise of one’s faith, demonstrated by restoring prayer in the classroom including spiritual foundations.
We will not hide the truth from our children, but will declare to the next generation His praises and wonder. Psalm 78:4
2. Restore the sound national economy. Reduce household debt and student loan debt.
God has plans to give us hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
3. Provide leadership to restructure our country’s education system to serve the most at-risk and vulnerable populations allowing the widest possible range of educational and vocational paths to job opportunities and career success.
Direct your children on the right path. Proverbs 22:6
4. Maintain a strong national defense, fully prepared, but not so quick to tie up our country’s young men and women in foreign quagmires that do not advance our national interest, and which last for decades.
Through God we shall do valiantly. Psalm 60:12
5. Reform the legal system to provide true justice, equitable for all citizens, regardless of race or ability to defend oneself in court. Recognize the disparity in verdicts and prison sentences, caused by the lack of financial resources or legal assistance.
There will not be differing weights and differing measures. Proverbs 20:10
6. Reform the approach to policing in a manner that treats all Americans the same, regardless of race, color, or ethnicity. Refocus police forces on real crime. Eliminate federal sentencing guidelines that tie the hands of judges, resulting in ridiculous sentences for the most minor offenses.
We will speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. Proverbs 31:8
7. Take care of the environment, diligently pursuing clean air and water as a national security priority and making renewables top priority.
The past is forgotten and everything can be new 2 Corinthians 5:17
8. Ensure that we always place Americans’ best interest first and foremost in dealing with foreign affairs. We must project strength, not aggression. We want trust, but we must also verify. We want fair trade, not one-sided deals that hurt American workers.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Matthew 5:9
9. Support faith-based groups to provide vital local services, giving communities a shared purpose in government.
We will provide ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works Hebrews 10:24
10. Creativity and the Arts can be an important source of innovation and development of other national strengths and resources.
He has given them skill in all kinds of work done. Exodus 35:35

Kanye 2020
Kanye West's platform, copied and pasted from Kanye2020.country:
Re: Kanye 2020
Ever listened to any of KW's recordings? Some pretty coarse stuff (to describe it politely). Many artistic types over the years have exhibited some pretty severe mental issues, a lot of it manic in form. I suspect this guy is a victim of that same issue.
I thought I read he'd abandoned his "campaign"...what the heck, is he back in?

Very idealistic and commendable. In fact it appeals to just about everyone. Only problem, achieving those goals has proven almost impossible and he's the least likely person I would believe could do it. But, spoken like a true politician, promise everything and then deliver your real agenda.

He forgot "World Peace" (Miss Congeniality)
We used to call that kind of list "Glittering Generalities" aka
Prayer in school? Whose prayer? The Constitutional protection of freedom of religion also provides for freedom FROM religion. The framers debated this extensively and that is how they arrived at wording they used.
Is the actual meaning of "trade" completely misunderstood? We want deals where we get the money AND get to keep jobs even if they aren't economically sound. Most of the jobs lost were low skill high paid manufacturing. These weren't loss to foreign competition. They were lost to automation. We still manufacture a lot of stuff but it's done with machines. Typical automotive plant has something like 25% of the work force that would have been required 30-40 years ago.
We already spend more money on "national defense" than the next 10 countries combined including China, Russian Federation, India, Japan, S. Korea, UK, Germany, France, Brazil, and Saudi Arabia.
Yep, we are a nation of LAWS. We have libraries we can fill with all of the laws that we have passed at the federal, state and local levels. We don't seem to do so well at "justice". It seems that most of our "laws" are designed to maintain the status quo, aka protect the rich and powerful at the expense of just about everyone else. I don't think passing more laws is going to improve the situation.
All of his "words" sound nice but there isn't any substance to back them up. I don't feel we need another amateur running for office, especially one who doesn't even understand what/how government works.

an emotionally appealing phrase so closely associated with highly valued concepts and beliefs that it carries conviction without supporting information or reason. Such highly valued concepts attract general approval and acclaim.

Re: Kanye 2020
I have lived in Georgia now for more than half of my life. Also lived and taught in Ohio and Kentucky. When I came here Georgia education was making big changes to bring the state out of its very low rankings. Apparently Georgia officials did not or would not believe what had been tried by other states.
Georgia seems to work on the idea that if it looks good on paper they will do it. Even if it has been tried multiple times and never worked. Of course it never worked because it had not been done the way Georgia would do it. Some of us call this "The Georgia if it looks good on paper,we will try it" method. Seems as though we are trying this everywhere now.

Much better.

Many years ago I was going to a Telco school for crossbar switching in Tennessee. The students were from all over, and there was a guy named Charlie, who had just taken a job in Georgia having moved there from New Jersey. A little ol' guy from Ohio named Sammy laid one of the best cuts I ever heard on Charlie. He said: "Charlie, when you took that job and moved from Jersey to Georgia, you raised the average IQ of both states."

Re: Kanye 2020
Nobody has mentioned that this candidacy might be aimed at siphoning Biden/Harris votes, thus narrowing the gap that Trump has to overcome? With the exception of prayer in school (face Mecca every morning and afternoon? or just dance around the cauldron?) who could argue with a platform of justice for all and peace on earth? I could go for that.
My vote will be more pragmatic . . .

Witches weren't the problem. Old Mac (NOT Donald) was attacked by Birnam wood.
