Here's your chance. Somebody has to be a smart aXX and tell me this sells for what it's worth.
6357 caboose. Yeah, Lionel. Roof corner gone. One sideframe, 4 wheels, 2 axles, and a pickup roller gone.
The gon is a Scout (plastic truck sideframes), not worth the effort....usable owner installed couplers.
With both of those it looks like you get USAF deals stuck in various places.
The engine, however.....

Appears to be a MARX. Has a transverse slot at back of smokebox. No indication either side of brushes, no pickup, no guts to it, really. Looks like it MIGHT have had a mainspring. Big enough void. Yet, no indication of key access hole on sides. The round whatever stuck up in the smokebox at an angle, matches nothing I've seen of MARX.

Not an 898. No handrails, no holes for stanchions (cotter keys).

BIN at $25.56......such a deal!

Gives new meaning to "Vintage". Maybe if I'd bought a case of MD 20/20 "The Wine of the Century" back in 1971 and stored it under the stairs, uncovered, I could pull that out and sell it as "Vintage" whatever MD 20/20 is (it's certainly not wine, the green stuff looked like antifreeze).
