Mature VS Immature. Got a question for you Chuck. One of the most popular thread on MTJ was the OGR crapper thread. It was over 200 pages long before Bill shut it down. Members here making fun of other people on another forum who didn't know they were being talked about behind their back. Mature or Immature. :?:

What about a member here making fun of a 14/15 year old working on putting together his first layout being made fun of behind his back. Mature or immature. :?:

They picked on Scott Smith a lot and he had a son that has a handicap. I remember when he found out about it and came over here to defend himself.

Can adults be immature or do they get a pass because they are adults. As in children should be seen and not heard.

And don't worry about the boxcar because it is still as it was contrary to to those who said it had been destroyed or repainted.

Lucas was in charge of the car so if he sent it to someone he can retrieve it. Lets ask Lucas to get it back, He and Nicky were friends. But there just might be a little more to the story

One of the complaints about the car years ago was it cost a lot to ship it to the next person. I wonder how much it would cost today.

I have no influence in this forum. I have just been here for a while.
IMHO, sincerely, I think we should find away to end this discussion in a friendly manner and get on with playing trains.
It was almost a disaster several years ago when these events took place. Let's not get to that point again.
I don't think these posts should be deleted but be ignored or locked.

I support thread drift.

Really? Seems odd. I ship cars of all sorts all over the country double boxed in a Priority shoe box; usually runs $9-16 depending on zones.

I really don't know because I never participated in the traveling boxcar I always thought it was kind of a joke. MTJ had to have one because OGR had one. I would imagine that 90% of those that participated are gone.

If people here want to do it again and we can't get the other one back, I will have one made up and will pay for it. No need for donations. It won't have the same graphics as the old one. It will be new. But if there are only 2 o3 people that want it I won't bother.

Probably so....

Honestly, if there was interest, and it's to me nor do I know if there are others, I would just start fresh and put all this past rubbish behind in the dustbin. Revisiting the past all too frequently proves it a bad idea.

Bad behavior is bad behavior, period. To condone or to encourage it is even worse, especially if you are doing this to someone who may not know any better.

Rufus, I don't disagree with you. However I didn't start this thread and I answered the question that was asked on the 2nd post. I thought it was dead at that point. But then we have others that added their 2 cents with misinformation that the car was destroyed or repainted and then Ben started digging up old bones so I will continue with the old bones until everyone else bails out.

Sorry to have unknowingly kicked this hornets’ nest...didn’t realize there was so much angst buried here. Won’t make the mistake again.

Might be fun to make up some decals or dry transfers, for a DIY MTJ boxcar.

Healey You didn't know what had happened in the past, It was a legitimate question, not your fault, Don't worry about it.I thought it would drop once the question was answered. Not a hornets nest. Just airing out some dirty laundry from the past

I was just having some fun and games with it from the past    Most of it happened on the O Scale Forum.

This was nothing compared to what went on with the AOL Lionel train board.
