When I first read that I thought you were referring to Bill Clinton......

Bill Clinton was impeached and acquitted. Partisan politics back then and the same now. I am afraid this will be the new norm for this country.. I Love gridlock because when the 2 side can't agree on anything we the people don't get screwed as BAD..

No, we get screwed over far worse since nothing that needs to get done gets done at all. Stagnation is almost as big a problem as actually doing the wrong thing.

For example: Everyone talks infrastructure and then the good jobs and manufacturing that would bring and that's dead in the water.
When we understand that each day isn’t one more day, but one less, we’ll start giving more value to the things that truly matter.

I do believe that the president has been asking for infrastructure funding. Don't those funding bills start with the House Of Representatives.

Not defending Clinton's conduct in the least, but he did apologize after the fact (unlike Trump), and, unlike Trump, he never bragged about assaulting women or made demeaning comments about anyone who disagreed with him. By today's standards, neither guy's conduct is acceptable, and rightly so. Hopefully the voting populace will vote for the better human being and saner policies in November. I'd even prefer Mike Pence to Trump :).

He was 3 years ago when Congress was fully able to do anything, and failed. No, it can start in either chamber.

Really? His agenda and position might be different, but not altogether better.

It was very nice to see the President applauded so vigorously as he had entered the East Room , just a moment ago, as I write this , for his press-conference on the Impeachment attempt. I'm glad for him. I'm glad for us.

Pence would be a danger in terms of inserting a religious agenda into policy, but at least he's not an amoral psychopath (narcissist) and ignoramus.

A lot of big words there Neil

Okay so for all of the democratic candidates that are now running, who do you see as a moral, non psychopath (narcissist) and ignoramus that you would prefer to be our president.??

Any one of the current Democratic candidates would be less of a psychopath and arrogant ignoramus than the current fool. I'd vote for Mitt Romney if he were the Democratic nominee. :) The only Republican currently in federal office who seems to have a spine and sense of decency.

Ah. A peek into the dark recesses of the mind.

"Pence would be a danger in terms of inserting a religious agenda into policy, "

And Mormon Romney would not?

The left wing, knee-jerk, communist inspired, socialist trained liberal media had a field day with Romney over that last time.

Would you have been happy with Billary?

"Would you have been happy with Billary?"

I would have been pleased to have a woman as President, at long last, and one who was actually willing to listen to people with brains and expertise, as opposed to firing anyone who disagreed with her about anything. But time would have told, as it has with Trump. Everything about him turned out to be worse than we feared. The violations of the emoluments clause, the unrestrained ego, the impulsiveness, the currying favor with the rich and famous, the contempt for the poor and immigrants. Trump is about as much of a Christian as the head of ISIS :). He's never read the New Testament, I'd guess, or didn't understand it. Jesus was a champion of the poor and downtrodden.

As for Romney, he has never shown the slightest tendency to foist Christianity, much less Mormon faith, on us as somehow more American than any other faith. By comparison to Trump, he is Lincoln and Frederick Douglass wrapped into one ;).

That didn't stop the naysayers. Or even slow them down.
Facts? Irrelevant. Truth? Immaterial.

Firing folks is one thing. Two words...Vince Foster.

Followed by Mena Airport. Ya know, if the liberals even MENTION something like that, the level of truth must by definition be high.

Problem with Hillary was she was suffering PMS 24/7.

Mitt Romney has been pissed off with Trump ever since he wanted the Secretary of State job and Trump didn't give it to him.

Donald Trump had endorsed Romney during the 2012 U.S. presidential election; at the time, Romney praised Trump's business savvy.
