Okay Dr Rufus. I understand the humor and what they created. Just didn't find it that funny just like I don't find horror movies that amusing. Therefor I don't watch them. You will probably have some meds to offer that would correct that situation. Maybe something with THC in it.

I had a hard time finding humor in Benny Hill.

I love the sketches in the Holy Grail. The killer bunny rabbit, the black knight, the running African/European swallows gag, the Camelot song and dance number, the knights who say nee, the enchanter "Tim". Of course I liked the TV show, Hell's Grannies, exploding penguins on the Telly, how not to be seen, the dead parrot sketch, ...

We are not all the same as how we view movies with humor. Sometimes I have to watch certain movies more that once before I actually like it.

The first time I watched Napoleon Dynamite I stopped watching it and said that was the stupidest movie I had ever seen. I couldn't figure out why all the youngsters like it. Especially my 2 grandsons. So I watched it a 2nd & 3rd time. I finally caught on to why they liked it.

As I said earlier, there are some Monty Python sketches I thought to be really funny.
One that I recall is "The Travel Agent". Can't explain why.

I like most of the music by Beethoven but not all. Can't explain why.

Just found an interview with John Cleese. The banging coconut gag to simulate the horses was actually created by Michael Palin as a way to save money as they couldn't afford real horses. Entire film was made on a $400,000 budget.

What I liked about their creative humor was that it was clear they were having a good ol' time of it. And I like when I see somebody having fun (so long as its not criminal). I guess they made some money on it along the way, too, huh.

What I DID NOT THINK WAS FUNNY was that at the end, where the hapless milkman finds himself in a room of captive milkmen, due to that classic trampbitch, the whole computer screen went black with "Sorry, an unexpected error has occurred." WTF !

I had to activate my Anti-spyware to recover the screen and use of my laptop. GODKnows what else has been done to me via hitting that link, even with its alleged https heading.

I think this may well be the finish of my business here on MTJ. I mean, really, WTF I think I have had my limit.
