Wonder if it's even powered at all. Looks like its on wagon wheels and axles.....maybe a cab stand/office of sorts for those hansom cabs?

Hagerstown & Frederick trolley #3:

Behind the trolley is the the arch-nemesis of the H&F, a bus from the Blue Ridge Transportation Company, ironically a sister-company owned by Potomac Edison.

Years ago, someone flipped me a disc with a bizillion vintage images of Hagerstown, Md., on it...lots of shots of the area, including the old H&F. No idea who took the photos, which is unfortunate.

Hagerstown is an interesting place. There is a painting (nicely done) of WM challenger on one of the overpasses on 11/15. I bought a lot negatives a while back on Feebay. Hope to get them in digital format one of these days.

Talked with guys from the H&F historical society on Sat. There are 4 H&F cars still in existence albeit not operational, but 3 seemed preserved for visiting and looking at while the 4th is apparently privately owned, but at least under shelter.

This may be a little off subject but I recall years ago, @10+, seeing models of subway layouts and equipment on MTJ.
I remember that I really disliked them because I could not tell if these were photos of models or the real thing.

I haven’t been to Thurmont in quite a while, but I believe one of them, an MOW car, is preserved there. I’ll have to run over one day and see if it’s still there.

That might be a freight motor? 1 of the 4 available to the public is supposed to be such a car.

Could be...I'll have to get up there and grab a pic if it's still there.

In the meantime, here's a shot of the general manager's car, Union Traction Company of Indiana:

That is, bar none, the silliest thing I've heard. If they were models and so good you couldn't tell them from real, you should have praised/applauded them. They might have been some of Joe Frank's stuff....it is superb!

You must have better eyes than me.
Besides it was meant as a compliment.
They do not seem to be on MTJ now or I don't know how to find them.

Roger,

Misunderstood your intent. The modeler darn near has to be Joseph Frank. Most of his posts appear to be victims of the latest Forum purge, but I did manage to find a few:

Yes, those were the type.
I also remember subway models that were hard to believe.
Thank you.
