Ala. teachers learn to reverse overdoses
https://www.cbsnews.com/video/alabama-s ... -naloxone/

Must be pretty bad in the schools if teachers are having students overdosing at school,

Did any of you school teachers have to deal with this. :?:

I taught in 8 school districts in 3 states, all in small towns. Until @ 1990 drug use at school or in use by students in these schools were very minor.
Not so today. The school administrators and boards of education would not admit to any kind of drug problem. Gangs and bullying also did not
exist to most boe.

So much of school is just day care, to allow parents to fulfill their requirements as wage slaves. One thing they had at Berkeley that I liked, were self-paced classes. You read up on the material, and went in to take tests as you were ready for them.

Speaking of the war on drugs, I repeatedly have somesumbich put a little black notice across the bottom-right-hand-corner of my laptop screen, usually when I first log-on or click onto MTJ, and it says, "Microsoft Account Problem. We need to fix your Microsoft account (most likely your password changed..."
It goes on from there (I'll continue that quote here after it appears again)…

1.)The whole thing seems so phony and intellect-challenged (one doesn't use the term "retarded" any further, I'm told.)
2.) also, somebody warned me that when unsolicited "notices" like that pop-up on screens, they are totally bogus and must never be clicked-upon.
3. I didn't ask for any assistance from any alleged "Microsoft."
4. Surely, the real Microsoft must have some other normal way of contacting me.

Huh? Eh?
Help?
daMurph

P.S. Knowing I'll be challenged on my asking my question here, I have a theory that the illicit drug use/trade is behind the motivation for a whole lot of evil shenanigans in the world, nowadays. So, I feel I have to do my part in the war against bad stuff by relating how I am being hunted and persecuted currently on the world-wide-web.

It's maleware or and unwanted tracking cookie that's doing it. Never activate it or you will get screwed.

It's not Microsoft. They don't operate that way.....

Here is a link to a FREE tool that I use. SUPERAntiSpyware from a website called Major geeks.
https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/detail ... _free.html

Everything that is on their website is trustworthy. I have been using them for years.

If you decide you want to use this after reading about it let me know and I can fill you in more on installing it and using it. I have been using it for years

Thank you, very, very, very much, HONDO, for verifying that for me. Over these several months it has been appearing, I sensed something was wrong and, as I said, had heard a warning about that somewhere (maybe here, previously) but found myself tempted last night, so I decided to inquire here among you guys who know a whole lot more about such matters than I.
I am sincerely grateful for your kindness in replying, and for your doing so with facts, especially.

Just yesterday, I renewed my subscription to SUPERAntiSpyware, which had been recommended to me some time ago by Rufus. I run their scan just about every day. They pick-up numerous "cookies" and whatnot, and get rid of them for me.

Excellent choice and one that I have recommended here in the past several times.

Suggest that it be accompanied with Malwarebytes

https://www.malwarebytes.com/premium/

Well...........sometimes they do. Particularly if they decide that the version of Windows you are using is not legitimate. A small notice pops up in the lower right corner and then periodically you will get another notice in the center of screen demanding that you enter the key for your copy of Windows. Failing to comply will get parts of your OS deactivated.

Not to worry unless it actually happens and it's probably nothing you'll ever see since I'm betting that all your soft or OS were installed and authorized when you bought the computer.

Two different issues.

Microsft will not contact you if you have a virus or malware on your computer. They could care less.

But they will contact you if you have an unlicensed copy of their OS on your computer.

Interesting.
Microsoft, the pirates of silicone valley concerned you have pirated from them.

MS used to make the email rounds every few years at our company and now our IT providers have to deal with it. You have to prove where you got the software, serial numbers and the computer the programs are installed on. Hard to tell them to fly a kite since they can stop you dead in the tracks.

No they won't because it's not their problem.

But they will contact you if you have an unlicensed copy of their OS on your computer.

The OS is checking itself against their database, so MS is monitoring your computer; mist-match on registry number and they pull your plug

Microsoft, the pirates of silicone valley concerned you have pirated from them.

(1) MS was not in Silicon Valley; Washington state business.
(2) "silicone valley" is something one might use to describe a subset of an aspect of female anatomy,
