It seems in so many countries that those in power/control only need the general population to do enough to support the haves and don't really care what happens to the have nots. That is for someone to worry about in the future. But there is nothing new about that.

Has been that way forever, yet the have nots still think that one of the haves will actually help them.....

New York Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Thursday vowed to defund U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and said all Latino people must be exempt from immigration laws because they are “native” to U.S. lands as they are descendants of Native people.

She has a college degree in economics. Apparently where she went to school they didn't teach economics or history.
