Re: TWELVE grand?
Ridiculous....
His other listings are equally absurd. This is at best a mediocre build of a $65 kit.....

Sadly, there are folks out there that may shell out their money because "I don't have the skills....". Neither does this guy...

Evil cannot create anything new, it can only corrupt and ruin what good forces have created or made.

Re: TWELVE grand?
Last pike I tore down....400-500 feet of GarGraves, 50 switches, ZW, 1033's, two walkaround controls, Bowser turntable, roundhouse, building, flats, bridges, 30+ locomotives, 175 freight cars, 10 complete passenger trains, undermount turnout controls, autos, signals, wiring...wanted 12K, complete, sold if off in bits, never made that, and this cl...errr....person wants 12K for two loops of tubular and how many cars and engine?

Let's see now. My layout uses tubular track, has two levels scenery ETC. Mine does not have push button operated accessories and is @ 16' X 21'.
Not counting my labor, which is supposed to be part of the FUN, I could have built at least three for that amount.
But it would have been built by an amateur not a professional.

Yes....$188/square foot for the layout and it's substandard construction.

I seen this layout either at the WGH show in Pittsburgh or York. Can't remember which.. It's OK but not $12k ok.
