Wow, I wasn't aware any articulateds were streamlined. That photo makes it look like it has fairly clean lines.

Even un-streamlined, the Coronations look pretty good:

Clean and tidy lines; sleek w/o encumbrances with those nice fine spoked wheels, and a sharp paint scheme.........all around nice!

Jaw-dropping, both those Coronation engines. I never saw anything like them. Thanks for those photos, Wayne, and Roy (!) :D

And that Czech locomotive on the previous page looks like a celebration , nearly a riot. Stunning.

If I google Moscow I get this:

Holy Toledo Roy! I have never seen Moscow like it is in your photo!!!

When did this happen?

It's not Moscow, St. Petersburg or Magnitogorsk - so I don't know where the Toledo it is. In a comment on the photo, someone said it was a train to Putin's Gulag.

When I saw that photo with the dreamy skyline behind the train, I had assumed it was a photo-shopped effort at contrasts, not an actual portrait of any city in Russia, let alone Moscow (!) But we all know what happens, at times, when we assume.

How? Wayne is a master at research.
And for me, "Holy Toledo, Roy! I have never seen Moscow like it is in your photo!!!" Wayne's replies hold great weight with me, even when early-on in a discussion, and open for modification later. But don't get excited. I didn't KNOW if it were Moscow.

The engine is a Russian P36 class 4-8-4, built in the 1950s. Some other P36's are green and red. One of the things that attracted me is the combination of the blue engine with the stainless steel cars.
