Indeed, if only as a stand alone module.
The owls may indeed not be what they seem but still serve an imperative function: they remind us to look into the darkness.

Most of today’s parks lack the charm of older parks. Everything today is about the tallest or fastest.

Actually, I have done an ever-evolving "Community Fair" in a small space on my layout, and I have sold versions of this idea, crafted as modules, a small local fair, sans rides, from my booth at the TCA Meet @ York. If you have seen these shots previously, I apologize for the repetition, but I thought you might find these germane to what you were suggesting, guys. This Community Fair, a far cry from Kennywood, of course, is as close as I ever got, at least on my own modest-sized layout, to those amusement park memories from my youth.

My Community Fair begins in the street at the Parsonage of the local church on this section of the layout...

Triangle with "H" in them is visible on several and one is round. Others could be for tennis, but they look a long ways down going back to filed that lob shot, :roll:
