Yet, I do not know if the turkey hit her window with force enough to break it as it did so effectively, of if she was driving so fast, or if the turkey's entry into her front seat area was a result of both. At any rate, I thought I'd share it here as a warning to all who might drive near such an environment, and also because we family members were so astonished at her actions and lack of losing control I wanted to share here.

Regarding turkeys conspiring, I've watched them gaggle thru my yard, observing them from above, out a second-story window, and I must tell you, they be rampaging and conspiring. I've heard their mumbling and muted gobbling , and have had my suspicions about their intentions and what they were plotting.

P.S. A report in the News around here told recently of a homeowner who had a turkey mommy take up residence alongside his front porch, laying her eggs and refusing to leave before, during, or after the eggs arrived. I'm not exactly sure how a turkey - even a mother one - "refuses to leave," without him simply taking her by the neck and wringing it - only as discouragement , of course, you understand, but "refuses to leave" !? HA!

A bit of hyperbole - ave salary is ~$800k which means there are a lot of players not making the multi-millions. Also, consider the average length of an NFL career is under 4 years. ....

OK, using your numbers: 2 - 4 yrs @ avg $800,000 per year, if I were so blessed, you could go ahead call me a millionaire. I'd be comfortable with that.

Take 30%+ off the top for taxes and another 20% for your agent, and then the state taxes that are incurred in every state that a game is played in..... You've got maybe $1.6 million to live on and a significant number of mature responsible adults can make that last for a while. Many can't. Most 25 year old guys are totally clueless and think it's going to last them forever and then it's all gone, and then the creditors show up looking for everything.

Figure probable at least 1 serious skeletal injury....

BTW, what's your yearly cost of living where you live?

How long is that residual amount going to last you. A million isn't what it used to be. Can you afford a house? Median home value where I live is $533,400 with the median list price per square foot being $305.

I have my own reservations and disagreement about organized religion , but not to the point where I would say I hate them.

Who knows, maybe you and I have some of the same thoughts on the subject. ?

I think religion isa personal and private thing for each individual with no need to explain to others.
Apparently most people do not think that. If they did church attendance would be even lower.
