Changes at OST

Gents:

As things have been transitioning, its become clear that its time for me to retire from editing OST, and stand aside with Jaini to really let it develop as the new owners envision. This week I "handed it in", and Martin is at the helm, now.

Everyone as readers, subscribers, and advertisers have my most sincere thanks. Keep sending Marty material. Its your mag; support it and help it grow.

Meanwhile, I, for the first time in a very long time, get to be "just another O Scaler" (and can work on my health a bit, too).

Rather than be surprised when the next issue drops through your letterbox...

I will remember Sarge for all of the above reasons also.
But what I remember most is that he guts enough to publish articles about several beautiful three rail also in OST.

It's all about trains...and after a lifetime full of them...you'll find traction. Don't step on a penguin...

I hope the new owners don't make too many changes.
The combination of staff and other writers were what kept OST interesting for an old 3 Rer.
The articles on building stuff were outstanding as were the ones concerning model history.
I hope the reviews stay as honest as they were and not be influenced by advertisers.
I understand the physical problems that Sarge has can certainly make any job harder.
