Not possible.

That's what I was thinking, Chuck.

Definitely. The operative word there being "blind" = lack of light and lack of seeing fully or at all. There are so mnay examples throughout human history and the present.

Or the refusal to see.

Good additional point, Rufus.

Murph,
If a Yeti is ever found I will say something like "Son of a gun, How about that!".
If one is never found I will continue to be agnostic.
I am surprised at the number of TV programs concerning these types of things.
And they are on channels that are called Science, National Geographic,
Discovery, History, etc. I watch some of them and think they are fun.
Some of them are in interesting geographical areas that can be spectacular
and/or very difficult to get to and are seldom seen.
IMHO these shows are done to attract viewers for ratings only.
Do you remember the ET autopsy done several years ago that was supposed to
be an alien found at Roswell? I watched it and it was fun.

How about Pine Gap, Australia, known for its strange lights in the night sky ?

An excellent, pertinent example, it seems to me, Hondo. When I first started reading about these large skeletons, Goliath came to mind immediately. Unless he had a tumor growing and pressing on his pituitary gland, one wonders why he was so large and robust, compared to his contemporaries.

1 Samuel 17:4-10
4 Then a champion came out from the camps of the Phi·lisʹtines; his name was Go·liʹath,+ from Gath,+ and his height was six cubits and a span (9 ft 5.75 in.) 5 He had a helmet of copper on his head, and he was wearing a coat of mail of overlapping scales. The weight of the copper coat of mail+ was 5,000 shekels (125 lb.) 6 He had shin guards of copper on his legs and a javelin+ of copper slung between his shoulders. 7 The wooden shaft of his spear was like the beam of loom workers,+ and the iron blade of his spear weighed 600 shekels; (125 lb.) and his shield-bearer was marching ahead of him.

This is Robert Wadlow.

Too tall for words.
Robert Wadlow.jpg (299.23 KiB) Viewed 1867 times

Robert Wadlow suffered from weakness and lack of sensation in his legs and feet, and as he grew he required leg braces and a cane to walk.

In 1940, a faulty brace rubbing against his ankle caused a blister, which became badly infected. On July 15, 1940, Robert passed away at the age of 22. Eighteen days earlier, doctors had measured his height at 8 feet, 11.1 inches.

There is a limit to size and weight for humans. Golith was at the upper limit. His size made him an easy target for young David. Robert Wadlow's example showed us some of the problems with being too tall. The square-cube law makes it a physical impossibility that humanoids of the size represented by these bones in your photos to ever have existed. In fact I recognize the third image of your second set of fake pictures.

The third image displayed in the second set was taken from Worth1000 (now DesignCrowd:=> https://www.designcrowd.com/how-it-works ), a site devoted to hosting contests in which entrants show off their skills at manipulating photographs using digital editing programs. The third picture of the second set was an entry from one of the site’s “Archaeological Anomalies” competitions, in which entrants vied to create the most realistic archaeological hoaxes: “Your job is to show a picture of an archaeological discovery that looks so real, had it not appeared at Worth1000, people might have done a double take.”

The basis for this image was a real photograph of an excavation site near Hyde Park, New York, where scientists were working to uncover the skeleton of a mastodon. Someone then linked the altered version of the image used for the Worth1000 contest entry with a fictitious backstory based on the Islamic account of the Prophet Hud, creating the hoax quoted above — which spread especially far after being published as a seemingly real news article on the website of The New Nation, described as “Bangladesh’s Independent News Source.” From there it took off and is still wandering around the internet and tabloids with different stories about location and explanations about the bones.

I have to ask you, Murph, were you just testing us to see if we are stupid or did you actually believe those are real, unmanipulated photos?

Wayne, in answer to your questions of me and your charge of the photos being my hoax, "How tall...your hoax.") :

A.) I certainly don't think anybody here is stupid; thus, no reason or motivation for a "testing" exercise.

B.) Concerning the photo array, I had no opinion; thus, my light touch in the first posting.
C.) I ASKED the question by presenting the photos to LEARN what others may have thought about such figures, and to LEARN what such figures might indicate.
D.) I was looking forward to your possibly replying because you have a way of getting to the truth in matters. However, at this point, I am not sure why I am getting a sense of hostility from you (not the first time.)
E.) If the photos are all fake, I am not the fake one. Whoever perpetrated their dishonesty on the world is the faker. I am simply sharing and asking. Did you see one word from me saying I was certain the photos indicated anything in particular?
F.) Your presentation of that photo of Mr. Wadlow was certainly pertinent. I believe there is a scientific name or medical name for such gigantism. So, if you yourself shared with us a photo of such an abnormally tall man, haven't you, so kindly, given evidence such figures have and do exist? I had found such a photo, from antiquity, of another example of such size among humans (see below).
G.) You say the photos are "manipulated." Have you proven your assertion about their being "fake," as you put it, concerning every one of them? There are more. But I am glad for the research you did, as you explained above. Thank you very much.
H.) If such large people were and are merely the product of overactive pituitary glands, or sad victims of Gigantism or Acromegaly (thank you, Rufus), then, case closed, and on to the next irritating (?) topic?
I.) Does your mentioning the "Square-Cube Law," addressing and asserting that it is a "physical impossibility" for "humanoids" to reach such size(s), ironically give support to the suggestion, by some, that perhaps such large skeletons (if they actually exist) are the remains of beings not of this Earth?
J.) Your explanation about the one photo of the skeleton being "8' then 10' then 12 feet" is marvelously instructive and well done.

However, does this conversation address the question of the Nephilim ?
