MTH. Lovely. Joe Giannovarion 2-railed one in a past issue of OSM. But, they ain't PRR.

But they (the coach and combine) are deadnutz on for B&M. I have to wonder if MTH measured off the cars on the Strasburg, which are former B&M splinter-fleet commuter cars that used to run into North Station in Boston well into the postwar era.

The observation is a bit of an adaptation, though Strasburg did some serious kitbashing in 12" to the foot scale with those cars, too.

Except maybe the Broadway Limited. I think it often had cars from other roads mixed in.

Probably, but they are years down in the queue. There is a growing interest in a set from Sunset. I'd settle for tearing down a MG D16 or even that cruddy MTH engine.....but one from Bob would be excellent!

You need to pony up for a coupler height gage. Doing conversions without one is like handlaying track without track gages.

Meanwhile, I can't imagine they intended the bracket to be anything other than used as you have done, though I would know better with one of those in my hands.

Search a Kadee 812 height gage, under $20 new or probably dirt cheap used on the 'bay.

Never seen an ACL model painted like that.

ACL also had cars painted for Illinois Central, as did SAL.

Did any other RRs paint their cars in other RRs colors???
