WAITING FOR THE TRAIN

This time of the year weighs heavily upon me and keeping busy helps - renovating the living room has helped....
All of my off-spring and theirs are all alive and well. I'm not sure they are happy. I'm not sure I'm happy.
But I'm still alive and I guess that is better than the alternative.

Re: WAITING FOR THE TRAIN
She is still beautiful, having "aged " far, far better than most.and her approach to people has always been gracious.
Re: WAITING FOR THE TRAIN
Sophia Loren (82)
When asked about the secret behind her enduring look, the answer was a simple one: "I'm happy! I live a wonderful life."
"It's nice to hear it," she said of the praise she receives before explaining that her brand of beauty "comes from inside."
There is more to it than "happy." There is also a lifetime of diet and exercise.
Sophia Loren’s Work Out Plan
What does Loren usually do in order to keep a stunning figure? Well, she’s a very active person and she practices a workout routine that does wonderful things to her body. “A little exercise, which I never do is good. I walk, walk, walk, walk—yeah. That’s very good for your heart.”
Sophia also makes it a point to relieve stress every now and then. “You have to take care of yourself. Eat not very much, relax a little bit, read, look at the sunset—you know, things that please you.”
Sophia Loren’s Diet
For her diet, Sophia follows a healthy one. She advised to everyone, “Be careful about what you eat. Eat very, very, very little things. Almost starve, but I don’t starve, because I eat very much. Because otherwise you get fat,” says Sophia. “Do you like to be fat?”
She also explained that keeping a list of go-to healthy foods is important. “I eat a lot of salad, a little meat, and some fruit—that’s all. But I like sweets.” Also, you have to avoid bread since it is loaded with carbs. “Too much bread is not good because you get fat from the starch. A lot of starch is no good, but some starch, yes.”

Re: WAITING FOR THE TRAIN
Seeing that little number makes me remember some of the antics and get-ups I saw in the subways of NYC back in the 70's. Oh how I wish I had thought of taking pictures of it all, back then!!!!

I guess he's seen it all.
Or maybe he felt he didn't need that shoved at him at table-height where he was going to be eating or imbibing .
At least, twerking hadn't been initiated yet by the hedonist groupies.
