Works for me.............works better than any enclosed structure and it's quiet permitting real contemplation until the mosquitoes (or bears...) indicate that it's time to move on....

Since you are a gentleman who appreciates irony, in-print or otherwise, I had occasion last night to be reminded of your reply here. I was attending a Christmas concert in a bricks-n-mortar church edifice and got bitten by some sort of bug (but couldn't dare move-on, however.) I'm still scratching its pin-point sized mark. Life is full of wonder. And irony.

I know very little about architecture. I can't identify the different periods or styles etc. but I have always enjoyed looking at buildings.
Churches often seem to have different styles that reflect, in some way, their denomination.
Driving through our little town on its main street, which can be done in about two minutes if you hit the traffic light right, you can see
that it dates to the early 1900s. Unfortunately many towns like this tear down their old buildings. Ah well.
Keep those cards and letters coming in, Rufus.
