I like tank cars and doorstops both, but I couldn't even convince myself to bid the $40 opening price. Jim
Wouldn't have done you any good as it went for $165.....and the winning bidder placed two other bids in the final seconds.....wanted it pretty bad!

Those were probably old Walthers decals....... UTLX is available from Clover House as dry transfers
Your body is not a temple. It’s an amusement park. Enjoy the ride.

Another bump. Everybody likes tank cars, but this thread never got the number of postings that the original did (alas, lost in the last purge). I have one or two more to post but need to take photos. Others?

Re: Tank Cars
I have lots of photos of tanks. But, last purge, almost everything went, including hosted photos, so I think why bother if it's going away anyway.
But, I might.

Re: Tank Cars
I'll try and revive... I finished a Thomas 6 dome tank car. I wanted to update but keep the "flavor" of the car. I did an article on the build in this months The O Scale Resource Magazine http://oscaleresource.com/. Made a few mistakes and learned a lot
