Thanks, Jon. That kerosene rail tractor was handed to me as a box of many parts....and was a bit of a challenge to re-assemble inot anything more than its current condition. Makes a nice load and adds weight to an otherwise light flat car.

That is a small road-roller and a tar-pot made by a company in New Zealand, lovely white-metal kits.

This one...

...is also a white metal and resin kit (the bulldozer). It's neat because its a cable blade, very typical of the pre-WWII and pre-hydraulics era. A bitchy kit to build and the cable routing was physically impossible as done in the kit, so a new overhead structure and cable-routing that actually would have worked was the order of the day. I've been a couple weeks on this one and still need to add the chains.

Kit for one of those is on my bench albeit the one from Turner Model Works which no doubt came from some other source long ago and far away from now.

Was thinking about tinkering it together but I can't get steady enough while hacking up a lung right now....
