Not me.But while I was a high school band director I had bands march in 25 Saint Patricks Day parades.
20 of those were in Savannah,Georgia which has the second largest parade in the country [to New York City].
The parade route was 4 1/2 miles and since I retired in 1999 I have never been to another parade.I do not miss these things.
It was fun at the time and the band members always seemed to enjoy it.Well,so did I.

Sleeping under the stars has its advantages. Us hobos get treated to some stunning displays at night.

If you are wondering how the stars could be so bright in daylight--it is not daylight. Note the time stamp on the photo. Nineteen thirty three hours is 7:33 PM. The sun sat in
Tucson at 6:38 PM. Fifty five minutes after sunset looked dark to me, but to a Cannon A3300IS set to ISO1600, f/2.8 aperture and 15 seconds exposure time, there was still
lots of light. Those shadows in the street, cast by trees and shrubbery blocking porch light from houses.

The brightest stars are not stars. Lowest is the moon, in the middle is Jupiter and highest is Venus. To the right is Aries (two bright stars near Moon and one dim one near
Venus.) To the left is Cetus and up, left of Venus, are three stars in the left front leg of Tarus.

Well... it is a cheap camera (Canon A3300 IS 16 Megapixel | $99.99 at Best Buy in Bangor.)

But that is not the answer. I just looked at the uncropped version. There is some digital noise
but no "pebbled glass" look. My best guess is I did something wrong when I cropped and saved
the image. I'll try again.

Wayne is in an arid-somewhat desert area of the U.S. now when things "Bloom" there they bloom quickly and may be gone for the heat gets to it--IMHO-- see what happens James

I've always been disappointed when taking a picture of the moon- it is always blurred. It is interesting how fast the earth is turning when one is looking through a telescope, and I have never had one with the clock-drive necessary to counteract that motion.

I look at the two every night the sky is free of cloud. Have you seen Mars, directly south at midnight, and unmistakably bright and reddish, sitting right under Leo? And when Mars is high in the sky, Saturn is plainly visible toward the eastern horizon.

I've seen all the planets except Pluto. Has anyone seen them all?

Only Mercury through Saturn. Yes on seeing Mars. It made another close appoach this month.

Maybe you have seen ALL the planets.

At a meeting of the International Astronomical Union (IAU) in Prague, Czechoslovakia in August 2006, astronomers decided that Pluto will no longer be officially classed as a 'planet' in the true sense; instead, it is now part of a new class of Solar System bodies known as dwarf planets, together with Ceres (the largest of the asteroids) and Eris (previously known as 2003 UB313 or 'Xena'). Consequently, there are now officially only eight true planets in our Solar System.
