I need something. Getting up and immediately (naked, hung over) pouring the brine out of the turkey pot, then wrestling the slippery pink-skinned beast onto the cooking rack is not a delight first thing in the morning, but the fellow is now air-drying before getting stuffed. I tried to tell Daisy that the second bottle of Champagne wasn't a great idea, but it was our second anniversary, so it made sense, I guess.

Dennis, I'm just guessing, but I don't think many hangovers are intentional. They seem to have a life of their own.

Jon, when does the Thanksgiving beverage cart show up today?

Tramp,

Watch out for that 5,10 and future anniversaries. :)

Jon, the mythical blessed holiday beverage cart just passed through looking and sounding is if it had arrived from heaven. Icy cold Molson Canadian was my call.

Turkey in! Trying out my new high-tech baster. I had to use the old baster to extract engine oil from my Velocette hard-mounted oil filter. Daisy, for some reason, did not think it should be used again for turkey basting.

Tramp, I've always found it odd that women don't approach kitchen utensils with the same view as us men do.
(do you recall the MTH penis pump I made out of my wifes last turkey baster?)
Dennis the 55 gallon drum of new ground cover made it here just fine. many thanks! If only my track order from AM Hobbies was as efficient as you!!!

Tramp,

I've found the best cure for a hangover is to keep on drinking.

Jon, enjoy your Tequila and leave the ground cover for another day!

Dennis, not a cure, a delaying tactic but a useful one on occasion. Some people delay their hangovers for entire lifetimes. That can be expensive and not always the kindest and most considerate strategy for family and friends.

Bird is looking good! It's unusual to have this much snow on Thanksgiving. Anyone else snowed in?

Tramp must be pretty well lubed. Two misspellings in two consecutive sentences! :D

See my picture of the October pre-Halloween storm we got? Tractor thread.

Happy Thanksgiving y'all. I know I sure have a lot of blessings for which to be grateful.

Oh yeah, Dirt. Find 'em!

Thank you for the toast on mom. She has a glass of Scotch settled carefully next to her ashes. God love her.

It's been a good, long day during which I have had many opportunities to express Thanksgiving. As this day comes to a close, I want to express one more gratitude.

Though we are not personal friends, Jon, I am personally happy you have been returned to everybody safe and sound. For that, I am grateful and happy. Bravo, Jon!
