It may look like an average maple tree, but notice how the boughs are caught up by the wind. Our first blustery breath of Fall!!! The cool wind is like God's hand touching my son's and my face.

Need a favor, guys. Say a prayer, chant your mantra, petition Vishnu, sacrifice a goat, whatever you believe in that might help a bit.
Kim's mom was riding with her dad, when her mom's horse took off, reason unknown, her yelling "I can't stop him". They disappeared around the house, heading to the barn, got out of sight of dad, who didn't want to give chase for fear of spooking him worse. He came around the house, and she was lying on the ground.
Just back from the hospital- 6 broken ribs, collapsed lung, scalp laceration, but most worrisome, subdural hematoma. Listening to the doc describe the CAT scan, doesn't sound life-threatening, but definitely touch-and-go for 48-72 hours.
She's going to be a hurtin' pup for awhile.
Appreciate any efforts.
