Roger,

I see most of the parts at my local Home Depot, including the lawn mower gas tank and lantern light.

A few parts, shock absorbers and truck horn, appear to be from Pep Boys Auto. (They have lanterns also.)

What I am wondering is how comfortable that seat is? I think I would head over to Anna's Linens and pick up a cheap pillow. Of course no redneck worth anything would admit the wooden seat was too hard.

Jon, the young engineer will simply go nuts if you send him some trains. It turns out he's actually 8 about to turn 9. Really nice thoughtful kid, and boy is he ever into trains, and has been for years. I guess you either have it or you don't. Wish I could send you a cold case of beer for Friday. Tramp, Whenever the government deems my services over here are no longer required, I'll get a box of items in the mail to you for the young lad. In the meantime let the engineer know that patience will have to be the word of the day seeing as our unit found out yesterday our return home has been extended by another month and a half added to our two months left already.

I actually got to thinking of that same thing when Bill axed the Pretty Ladies Of Trains once again.(Remember the uproar the first time?) It's hard to believe the years of posts we all have shared at the jungle. We've shared the best of times as well as the worst of times. I feel privileged to be able to participate in it's longevity. Hopefully after a safe return back home we'll all be able to raise the tin cups in celebration of the holidays and friendships once again.

Did you see the 1702 Atlantic parked on the RIP track? That's mine. I have been stuck here since the 7th, waiting for parts. They sure don't build em like the used to.
