The recipe purloined from the restaurant in Buffalo that originated the idea, by a sister of a nurse with whom I worked, many moons ago.

Hot Wings

7 oz. hot sauce (McIlhenny's from Louisiana, or ya ain't doing it right) or more, to taste
1 lb. margarine
1 tblsp. vinegar
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. red pepper
1 tsp. A1 sauce
1 cup ketchup

Melt butter, add seasoning. Deep fry wings, dip in heated sauce, and serve.

Enjoy! :D

Interesting and useful site - thanks, Jon!

BTW, I thought it was a tad on the light side - I could see through it and that's rarely a good thing, But, it was emminently drinkable!

By the way, Rufy babes, I was wondering where you were. I had figured, given the nature of some of the ravings seen on a few threads herein lately, that you were staying above the fray, or you that were out galavanting around the globe on your missions of import. Good to see you again.

Do you suppose those potatoes got so big due to the numerous heavy rains this past Summer?

All of the above proves what I have thought for some time.

On this forum there are 3-railers,3-rail scalers,2-rail scale modelers,pre-war,post-war,modern,TMCC,DCS,DCC and conventional users,die-cast,tin-plate,brass,every manufacturer,high-rail,scale and toy type layouts, subways, liberals, conservatives, progressives, doctors, lawyers,Indian chiefs[probably].My finger is getting tired and I probably missed something.

The important thing in this is with all the different aspects involved the regular participants on this forum seem to get along very well.Trains and fun are the main factors that make this forum work. Some that drop by now and then do not seem to understand this and get upset because we can disagree and still be friendly. They also haven't figured out that the diversity of personality and experience here makes it very difficult to "mess" with us.

The above is just my rambling opinion.
