Pete, if you can locate the leak in the tank, I know how to fix it for a few dollars. My Chevrolet tank had a leak where the filler tube met the tank. I used POR paint and it has held for 10 years. I've even repaired steel sinks and plumbing bits with this paint. I bet Mitch knows about it.

Absolutely LOVE dem kitties! And Guard Cat there looks like the type that'll let you know when it's time to play/mess around, and not a moment sooner. I'll also bet Simon has brought a dead bird or mouse home to drop at your feet to show what he's been up to lately, eh? He seems at the prime of life, full of power and skill, immaculate, and vibrant.

Murph, he is a good kitty. He was a 'drop-off' at an area farm, and I got wind of him via an 'information-alley' bulletin board at work.

I had had two Siamese cats for umpteen years, inseparable, and when the older one died, the other was dead in little more than a month, I swear of a broken heart.

So this guy materialized, and I brought him home as a surprise for the kids. They named him 'Simon', which proved apt, as every time you would walk past a chair or sofa under which he was lurking, he would leap out and assassinate your foot or ankle, after which the kids would shriek "You've been Simonized!".

I guess we've proven ourselves adequate as owners, as he has decided that we're sufficiently worthy, in our feeding, caring, and adoring him, that he's been willing to stick around, so long as we understand that our tenure as owners remains on a permanent probationary basis.

In the meantime, he gets to sleep with a babe...



or wherever he wants...



and even has the dog serving as a pillow.

Saaaay, what HAS happened to Mitch? He's tailed off ever since his trip to Canada. I'll bet it's the cumulative result of eating too much fish. I hear he's eatin' it breakfast lunch and supper and two snacks in between, had it filleted and sauteed, breaded buttered battered broiled and barbequed, fried and fricaseed, curried deviled and creamed, he's been eating fish nuggets, fish burgers, and fish cubed sliced chopped and diced, even had fish-in-a-pita and fish-on-a-f*ing-stick.

Hey bro, ya listening? It's not too late! Get yerself out to yer local greasy spoon, and order a heaping double-platter of sausage, eggs, toast, and potatoes, OJ and coffee! You'll be better and back out on the rails with the rest of us losers in no time!

You too?!!! Me too! Why did we do that - did we simply forget those radiators were so lethal to crayons and just found their groves handy for holding art supplies? I thought I was the only one who did that kind of stunt.

A guy who can come up w/ that sort of wisdom is surely missed by all like-minded independent thinkers. In fact, he was one of the voices that convinced me, early on, that I was visiting a forum I would find very comfortable and decided to stay.
Plus, discussions w/ him in them are all the more interesting.
