Don't ever recall seeing a tender like this.

Looks like a homemade replacement.

Looks to me like a Vanderbilt gone amiss. I think the $119 is optimistic unless it is part of something rare, to which I'd say it's not.

I have one a whole lot better than that (less trucks) that I consider "junk".

Mayhaps I can get a photo and post it here when we get back from this trip.

short time on this computer....nice rivet lines..semi-tinplate wheels...AMT coupler (tinplate), lots and lots of solder.

I'll save and blow up the frame later...may have started with something there....maybe even a tank car to get the rivets...and went off the deep end from there.

I'd rather have the duck..........hold the mango salsa.

Can't come up with a specific tank for starting point. But, I will say, the dual row of rivets, carefully spaced for the hold down straps (!) that stop at a requisite, consistent distance from the frame center sill is indicative.
Of what?
That, based upon the high quality and adherence to any specific prototype the rest of the model shows...the same guy did not do the tank rivets.

Turner.

errrr.....

Opinion.
