This came home as well last Sat. Scratch and hand lettered, etc. A bit bet up but I must have thought it salvageable.....we'll find out. Not powered and again, large, so 17/64ths maybe.....missing a door......and I have the other truck in hand.

That looks pretty sharp as well. What's the roofing made of? Almost looks like papier-mâché.

It looks ok but up close it's going to take a lot of work. Got to make a replacement door at the one end, fix broken glue joints and then there's a good bit of repair underneath. No underbody details at all. Maybe leave it as a trailer.....

It's wood! I'm guessing there's a lot of layers of paint and dirt on it!

Do you think it was built as a trailer or some sort of static model maybe? Looks like there was some roof detail for a trolley pole? The clerestory windows seem nicely done.

I don't know, but pretty interesting. I can understand why you grabbed it.

May have always been a trailer; makes my work easier,  Yes, looks like there were 2 poles at one time. Even trailers would sport poles for lighting, etc. Clerestory is ok from a distance - hand painted stuff.....

Another irresistible restoration project.......
