Interesting Lionel truck modification

Unfortunately, can't see condition of worm/worm gear.

Field still in place, top brushplate gone (sold separately?).
Seller kept the pickup rollers, too.

Just take a Sagami can, wrap it in tape, jam it in the field pieces.

Has to be a reason it's being sold without the locomotive.
Of course, we can always guarantee proper worm/worm gear mesh when motor is mounted in tape.

"Untested. Loose wires. Part you see in pics is what you will receive. Fair Condition.”

Never seen that done before.

I'm thinking that the seller doesn't have the worm gear but does have a Sagami can. :D
