Funny, really, what some folks will say, elsewhere, when they believe this site is gone.

I saved that post from NK. No belated holiday greetings for you, bucko.

And it's about time! Your demise has been discussed! A few tears shed; a few Bowie knives in the back, and now we're back at it eh? Good. I will ignore the blathering comment. :)

I remember the Gun Runner when he was here. I am not sure who was happier to see him go.

I thought Alan Arnold's comment "A lot of ugly and sometimes slanderous comments were allowed which did nothing to advance our hobby." was informative, especially when viewed from not only his other comments but what followed by Melvin: "Following up on what Alan said, all I can say is, good riddance."

They just locked the thread. Left it open for all to see.

I am fairly certain some folk will pass that link around. Wonder how that BS will affect their subscriptions in the new year?

I am glad were back, I read OGRR even though they won't let me post. I didn't see the thread about MTJ where was it? i only read 3 rail toy trains. I'm surprised they allowed talking about another forum.

Very good...I suspected the death announcement was premature.

Thanks to Lee for all of the support and effort.

and it's Arnold and Melvin, who don't allow anything, who are saying it.

Well worth copying and saving for when their dozens of lawyers makes them take it down.

This is the 1st post in the thread on OGR.

Was this all BS or what.

Hello All --

Just a heads up here for anyone who is not aware -- the long running MODEL TRAIN JOURNAL founded by the late Bill Lango, is gone from the internet. Its Domain has expired and it up for sale. It was kept running by a Nephew (I think) of Bill's, but at this point it appears said person decided to shut it down. Here is the link -- and see what page you get (as I did)

It was easy to think the worst after reading that GoDaddy page that came up.

A number of forums I read have had various issues over the last year. The ODGW site took a major hit last fall that wiped out six months' worth of content when restored...at least we didn't have that here. BigIndoorTrains is still down, some two months after what was probably an upgrade by the host. It seems a scary time to be a forum administrator.
