They don't allow any political comments or discussions on OGR. Never have. MTJ is the only train forum that I know of that allows it....

I'm just glad MTJ is back up. Thanks to whoever got the problem fixed. I don't post often (40 posts in 17+ years!), but I like to stop by once in a while to see what's going on. MTJ is the closest thing we have left to the AOL train boards. Now that was fun!

Yep, Guilty as charged. Hey, they won't allow that great avatar photo from High Sierra so I will promote the name itself. Glad we are all back at it here. I haven't tried to upload any media material for some time so I can't comment on that issue. Plus I need some worthwhile material.

I don’t really have a beef with GRJ. He helped a friend of mine and is pretty well steeped in the electronics side of the hobby. He’s probably on the right forum considering his skill set. Not much here in terms of modern train electronics.

Gun Runner John is the moderator on the Model Train Forum. And he has been there for a long time.

I remember when he came here and why he didn't stick around. At the time he was an MTH tech and did a lot of work with MTH engines and promoting the product. What he discovered was a lot of anti Mike Wolf and MTH. On other forums MTJ became known as the anti MTH forum.
Our resident Mike Wolf/MTH hater is still here.
