Demos of Lionel's 2-10-10-2 and Veranda

Postby KeithL » Tue Aug 10, 2021 1:21 pm

Yesterday evening, on Facebook, Lionel's Dave Olson showed off engineering samples of Lionel's 2-10-10-2 and Veranda locomotives. Very cool engines and features. I don't have a chance of being able to buy either one when they arrive later this year...unless I were to sell my house out from under my wife--and then I wouldn't have a place for my layout. Still, it was fun to see them and what they can do.

Thanks! Pretty nice, pretty expensive!
Once I built a railroad, I made it run,
Made it race against time.
Once I built a railroad, now it's done --
Brother, can you spare a dime?

Took too long to get going, I ran out of patience.

You can skim through it to the "start" of it. IMO it's a pretty informative watch.
