Interesting... Both my corded and battery one came with collets that let me drill down to about a #76.

The variable speed drill press goes down to #80 and up to 1/4". It sees a lot of use!!!!!

Dip them in a bit of cutting oil!

A good idea, one I’ve not tried. Just gotta be sure to remove every trace of it afterwards, as I suspect that could play hell with the paintwork.

Q-tips and lacquer thinner, or into the dip!

That reminds me that I saw wine today in pull-top cans just like beer. YUCK!

Thanks! Old Walthers parts on a scratch/salvaged tank on a Walthers frame.....with a great set of Protocal decals

Also seeing cocktails in a can now. Cans seem to be making a roaring comeback in popularity,

Drill press!

Okay, this drill press!

But, if you have steady hands - battery powered Dremel works just fine - drilling holes for grab irons today - #74 drill bit. No problems at all,

Good news! As it turns out those little tiny drill bits fit in my large Delta drill press. I did a test hole last night and it worked pretty well. Now if I can avoid those pins that I used to attach some of the components I should be in good shape.

There were a good number of 6 compartment wine tank cars; usually one sees the Roma lettering, but I wanted something a little different!

Nice!
As your model shows, Covington, Kentucky, had a Gibson Winery.

Gibson makes canned wine.
