Trainz description:
"This is a Lionel 18300 Mint Car Series Pennsylvania GG-1 Diesel Electric Locomotive from 1987. Features include a powerful motor, a reverse unit, an operating light, an operating horn, 2 pantographs,
die-cast metal trucks, operating metal knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles."
Note "die-cast metal trucks".
Now look at the photos and tell me where the trucks are.

None of which are present.
To obtain all those parts would end up costing you more than a complete new unit.

Could be the rare clear cast truck variation.
Appears someone raped it to upgrade a Fundimension GG1 with nylon geared trucks. Price is nuts. You can get a complete one for not much more.

I queried Trainz as to "Listing references "operating metal knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles"...are they included?" Their response:

So I'm guessing that what you see in the photo is what you get, and one should disregard the text description (and probably disregard Trainz as well).
That could get costly. If they describe it one way, then "not covered by our normal return policy", somebody might not be happy.

Shakes my faith in these guys, as I've bought a few pieces from them over the years and have always been pleased. I dislike listers that include a "look at the pictures carefully" disclaimer in their listing. Certainly would have to be careful when considering their stuff going forward.

Maybe, but I'd rather have buyers/bidders looking carefully instead of not looking, guessing, and bitching later.

Paypal will always side with the buyer. That item is 100 percent returnable. No matter what trainz says about returns. If they state "metal wheels: and you don't receive them. That's on them. Paypal gives you six months as a buyer to open a claim.
