Anyone have one of these? Any thoughts on it? Pictures? I just bought the new one in Clinchfield. Expensive! I bought my 1966 Chevrolet Imala 25 years ago for the same price.

One week and no response.
I do not have a Lionel Visionline Challenger, apparently no one else on this forum does either.
Even though I don't buy anything that won't run on O-31 curves, I would like to hear your views on your Challenger.

Same here...I don't have the radius to handle it. O-42 is the maximum for me, which is a problem for some of the nice prewar Lionel gear as well. I have a Hiawatha that can't make the curve, so it's shelf-bound until I expand.
The only modern-era Lionel I have is the LRRC Western Union set which is headed by a Berk. O-42 is adequate for that.

i have a RailKing Challenger. It's centipede tender derails a lot. So it sits in it's box. Someone said it's wire between the engine and tender is to tight and i haven't tried to lengthen it.

There are three guys in the club that have the VisionLine Challenger. Its a beautiful engine The sounds on the engine are better than I have ever heard. One of the three had a problem with a smoke unit and had to be sent back The Clinchfield is my favorite of the three

Be careful pulling that cable out There is a cable tie under the tender body Move that back a little first or you may have a little electrical problem if you pull too hard

Thank you, I'll remove the tender body.

I have one, the UP 3989. But I’ll be honest it’s been so long since I posted here I don’t know if I can remember how to post videos/pics. Great detail and sounds. Smokes like hell out of every orifice.
