I just saw photos of one of the new Lionel N&W J repaints! What a mess that thing is!
All I can say is, whoever did that should be ashamed of their work!
I feel sorry for all of those people that let Lionel get off the hook the way they did!

I returned mine for fear I wouldn't be happy with the new paint / decal job and would have no recourse after that. I feel pretty good about my decision. For those who took Lionel up on their offer I hope they are satisfied. I just don't think I would have been. I have moved on. Maybe the next J will be corrected.

Any pictures of the before and after? Inquiring minds need their entertainment!

Keeping in mind what happened over on another forum with the sue happy, money grabbing person out there that ruined things for everyone, it is probably best that the photos not be reposted here unless they are from the owner himself!
I highly doubt that is going to happen because he can't see the poor condition of his loco when it is right in front of his face. Neither can the other yes men. All they can do is praise the emperor's new clothes!
If you decide to do your own hunting for entertainment, keep in mind that you need to forget the thumbnail and be looking at the big picture.

yeah, but a link to the thread or the URL of the location of the photo works. Right click, copy photo location, paste it here even using the "image" button.

Well, did you open your eyes? Did you look close at the other photos?

He says same painter? No idea. He says striped and numbers away from the original 746.
