new Morning Sun Subway publications

Two new volumes on the New York City subway systems from Morning Sun books, both are picture books and both by Matt Herson, vol1 BMT and vol 2 IRT. They are available as softcover with 96 pages and cost $40 each or as expanded e-editions for $20 each with ~200 and ~300 pages respectively. Photo's are great, most in color. They show not only the "rolling stock" but stations/platforms and have a lot of "surrounding" scenery for the EL shots and cover time frames from 1920's/30's up till 70's and 80's. Great research resource for NYC in that time span. I have a number of Morning Sun publications in my library. The books aren't cheap but they are very high quality and I feel they are a good value.
