Since no one started this, I figured I would.

Saturday was NMRA Division 2's Model Railroad Jamboree. I gave a clinic on building the Panhandle and also entered a contest for classic structure kits (pre-1977). The entry didn't win anything, but it was fun. Here are some photos from my "Plasticville Hospital - specializing in plastic surgery".

Cute. Turning out clones of Kate Upton is commendable and probably profitable as well!

One could get hauled before the @metoo tribunal for something like that

A couple of pieces found at York, intended for a Scout-like PW set for my niece's son:

The tender is a 6466T. The 2034 calls for a 6066T, but I figure this is close enough. I'll substitute this for the 6466W that Sarge ran down for me and use that for something else.

The 6357 is near mint...a lighted caboose is always fun.

My grandparents had this kit for me to build, when I was staying with them on weekends. That was from the time I was four years old. Of course, I never glued or painted anything, I just assembled and dis-assembled it. I remember my grandmother had it in a box she had covered with silver wrapping paper.

Yes! Yes, indeed. I've been able to quit my job at the hobby shop because of this new line of business.

Yeah, anything to make a buck. It's on Pay-Per-View.

Hey, when you have a Gold Coast operation with chrome-plated ambulances, a small operating room, and high prices you need to make a few extra bucks any way you can.

Those surgeons are prima donnas.

I remember those pre-printed floors are cardboard. Also, as I recall, the name on the front of the hospital was pre-printed in red. I wonder if Plasticville was one of the first snap-together type plastic kits?
