Happy Friday!!

Work on the layout is on hold until the holidays are over. Just not enough free time. There is TIME however, to run some trains!

1666 leading set 1409W from 1946 -

NS ES44DC 7716 leads 13R over the Potomac River as it crosses from Maryland into West Virginia on the H Line.

NS ET44AC 3630 is about to duck under US-460 as it leads a westbound empty coal train through Christiansburg, VA

Norfolk & Western & Southern EMD diesels idle the night away as they wait for their next assignment.

NS Dash-9 9028 leads 83Q through Superior, WV on the Pokey.

Just after sunrise, NS Dash-9 9716 crosses the Conemaugh River as it rolls through Johnstown, PA with a westbound manifest

Nothing wrong with running trains, enjoy!

Love the bridge shot over the Potomac. The diagonal lines of the clouds and the bridge/train vrs the tree line/river bank really give an enhanced three dimensional quality to the photo. Excellent composition. Thanks for sharing.

It's in Shepherdstown, WV. There's a little bit of a climb to get to the vantagepoint I shot it at, but its worth it !
