Happy Friday!!
This weekend marks the unofficial end of Summer. Soon the weather will start to turn brisk & we will find ourselves ready for train season again! (Although for some of us, train season is year round!)

Been doing that tedious task of wiring up track activated accessories this week( fun times!)

Picked up a 1948 vers of the 726 this week. Been on my want list for a while. Also, as you can see in the photo, I swapped out the 115 station for the 132. As much as I LOVED the 115, I felt it blocked the buildings and was just too tall for that spot. I'm not 100% decided though.





Also finished putting up the shelves. Not a ton of wall space, but I figure I'll just rotate what's on display from the closet.

On the Greenville District, in Flowery Branch, GA, NS G53 takes the siding with Dash-9 9843 leading to give the ROW to a late running 238.


NS 29G w/ SD70M-2 2717 waits for a clear signal to cross over as 201 passes w/ Dash-8 8450 (ex CR 757) leading in Wabun, VA.


NS AC44C6M 4056 (ex NS D9-40C 8888) brings up the rear of westbound helper set J57 as it passes through Falls Mills, VA


CSX ES44AC-H 980 leads KH00 past Wenger Feeds in Shippensburg, PA on the NS Lurgan Branch


NS Dash-9 9087 leads 118 over the Yadkin River in Spencer, NC as it prepares to head into Linwood Yard

Nice to see the kids having a good time! Love the composition of the Falls Mills shot. Nice "S" curve shot and the fall color accents near the ROW.

That's what Roger keeps saying. I agree.

The 132 station definitely is at home with the other buildings Christopher.

This is my AF 429 that I have had since 1948 when my dad bought it to go with the other prewar trains that he bought. The rear truck on the tender is Lionel. All the other trains are Lionel prewar. This was my favorite engine. It has a few scrapes but it survived my childhood.
