Howdy. As I have not seen anything here I thought I would post some oldies but goodies of a Christmas layout
I did several years back. It was on the uncompleted edge of the train table that did get more or less finished
for the NMRA convention a couple of years later. I have even included a couple of poor quality videos I made
for some folks at work right after I retired. That was a hoot. Anyhow, for your enjoyment. Sit back and hopefully
have a laugh. Please post some of your Christmas train photos too! Don't leave me hanging out on this limb.

Roger, there are people that can do that. I know, because I had a friend with the same problem. He found a computer expert who could help him.

This is from Christmas 2015 - No. 1 grandson playing with my old Marx #666 engine (1958) pulling a Lionel reindeer car.

Love the snow & the standard gauge !!

Beginning at Thanksgiving, my basement layout gets a temporary, in-scale dose of Christmas, which extends in as far as I can reach from the main aisle. This includes a Thanksgiving Day parade, in what my imagination tells me is in the spirit of a Macy's, Rose Bowl-type parade for the Holidays. I indulge myself with plenty of whimsy in the parade, because it makes guests happy, and my wife likes it a whole lot, so I get joy from the effort.

I hope you like what you see and that these little scenes give you a smile.

Thanks, Roger, for the feedback. Yes, all the decorations, including the Holiday Parade, get removed and stored in the Christmas closet, for the next year.

Four very nice and distinctly different layouts that all express the season in understandable ways.

I hope some more will be added.

I also like seeing the same scene from different angles and directions in many of the above photos.

Beautiful scenes. Scanning the prose a bit too quickly, I misread the 3rd sentence as "I indulge myself with plenty of whiskey in the parade..."

I went back and re-read it and thought - well that would work, too.

Regarding the whimsy-whiskey trippin, for some reason I can't quite figure, I'm glad you told us that, George. It fortifies your image as a fun-guy who likes to play, just right for our hobby, huh.
And I'm so glad you found the scenes so nice. Feedback means somethin to me. Thank you. Your voice, here, has added to my enjoyment of them.
