One needs to be quick with the trigger and paste and save these threads into word as the ban hammer looms on the horizon.

Couldn't tell you, the post was permanent removed from this reality.

Essentially, a poster complained about OGR's affinity for a particular contributor (articles, video, book). I personally don't care for the contributor's work either, but it's OGR's party and revenue source and they can defend it. And they did. They were well within their rights to do so.

I was more than a bit surprised that this emotional post was made at all. We all know how these turn out.

Thanks, George. I thought it would be something like that.

Which contributor? Enquiring minds want to know.

Does anybody think this policy will change when Melvin is gone from the scene?

It may. It depends on the new owner.

One of the statements I read by Melvin seemed to say that he would still be there in some way and that nothing would really change.
What do you think?

If I were the new owner, 1st thing I'd do is clean house of every one of that gang. Otherwise, you are not the new owner.

Well, first of all, no transfer of ownership has occurred. The same people own the business; one of them is stepping down from day to day operations.

Second, much of OGR's business and relevancy in the marketplace is tied to the presence of the owners. OGR has made themselves into an opinion leader in this market niche. And if I were buying this business, the owners would be required to stay for a certain period of time with specific performance requirements. Otherwise, you what are you really buying?
