Love that opening shot, great composition/lighting.

Nice find at the train show. Watch out for the exploding box car. It's got a lot in common with an style mouse trap including the ability to inflict great pain. Satellite launcher is another one to be careful off. I love that car but the spring mechanism for the launcher can fire that projectile with a lot of force and the spike on top of the satellite is pre-CPSC. As a child one of my friends had that car and the satellite often stuck itself in the ceiling tiles over the layout.

oh we know all about the satellite car lol. That's one of his faves!.

I'm not a big fan of the exploding boxcar though- for the reasons you stated, but he loves it!
What boy doesn't like to blow stuff up ? :)

We had a set of construction/destruction toys for our son called "Building Blasters". Not the most PC toy, especially post 9-11.

That 1551W is really nice. I have that set too, but the 6562 is bright red and the 621 is the dark royal blue. I love that engine.

I think the 6562 in gray was less common for this set. I need to add a light to the 621. Really wish it had a light :)

I agree. That is the only 600 series diesel I own that doesn't have a headlight (from the factory) but has a horn. It looks very plain w/o a headlight, however, as a PW, 600 series, CNJ fan, I love the 621...way more than the 611.
