With the holidays approaching, it's time to break out the postwar & relive that magic of model trains & Christmas!

2167WS from 1951

The 1862 General from 1959 on the upper level

2055 Hudson passes the station leading set 1533WS from 1955

2245 Texas Special F3s leading set 1520W from 1954




2055 Hudson splits the signals leading set 1533WS from 1955

Picked up this cool archive TOFC car -

NS SD60M 6801 (ex CR 5565) leads an eastbound grain train through Riverside on the ex Virginian main

NS Dash-9 9049 leads 29G westbound past the former N&W station in Christiansburg, VA

NS SD70ACe 1051 leads 233 through Oakvale, WV on the Christiansburg District

A NY bound NJT trains crosses the Raritan River as it heads into Perth Amboy on the North Jersey Coast Line

Just after sunrise on the Pokey, NS ET44AC 3670 leads an eastbound coal drag through Switchback, WV

Nice to see the old stuff running. Really like the composition of that last N&S shot. The curves and the lighting are outstanding. Thanks for posting!

Christopher,
The first two NS photos have a look about them like they were made on a layout.
Their "texture" is, to me, the same as your layout photos above. Really nice.

Cute picture. I like the way his tongue sticks out. He/she really looks like they are working the computer.

Thanks Roger. I like the first NS shot a lot myself. Used the telephoto to get a nice depth of field on it

I tried using it as my avatar over on that other (unnamed) forum, but the moderators insist that the avatar be a recognizable photo of the member.
I told them that's what I look like, but they didn't believe me.
