Since my CNJ was featured in CTT, I thought I would post a few pics from beginning to end of the building of the layout.

NS SD70M-2 2684 leads 18M off the Virginian & on to the ex Southern main for it's southbound trip to Linwood via the Hurt connector


NS SD40E 6308 (ex NS SD50 6519) shoves 20Q eastbound under the iconic PRR signal bridge in Summerhill, PA

Howdy,

My wife and I stopped at good old Fostoria Ohio Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning. We saw 50 trains in a little under 8 hours of
being at the railroad park. Another great time. Some photos are below. There is one that Christopher might enjoy. I was stunned to see
this baby in the lash-up. Suffer through the quality.......again. We had a great time, like always. We're thinking about making their
Train Day celebration next September 22.

Jim, your photos are more than good enough for our 850-pixel maximum width for photos. In fact, one of your photos intrigued me, so I blew it up and increased the contrast.

There are NO image/file size limitations, currently, on MTJ, for posting.
(Of course, I could be wrong...).

Any limitations on file size are placed on the file BEFORE it is uploaded to MTJ.

For you, I would suspect it is your image hosting service (guess), that does the honors.

Below is Jim's fabulous photo of CSX 3060 in a width of 1700 pixels. It displays with a width of 850 pixels on MTJ. If you copy it and place it on your computer, say in MS Paint, it will be 1700 pixels wide. My image hosting service did not reduce the size, MTJ did not reduce the size, MTJ just displays it with a width of 850 pixels.

I've been to Fostoria a few times. The action is really good out there!

This makes our 4th trip and each time seems to be better. I like the place and like helping support their train tourism. You can see where this town used to really be busy with industry plus trains. Now it is more just trains. I can't seem to get any interest from my local railfans to travel 5 hours to visit though. So my wife and I will just go when we can.
