I hope so, another visit would be nice after this virus mess is over.

Dave,
That would be nice.

I did not get back to that area very often after 1975.
I did see a transition of transporting iron ore in partially loaded coal hoppers
to fully loaded ore hoppers. Saw a lot of changes in that time from 1940s t0 1970.
The memories of those times are off set by what I saw in the early 2000s
No wonder many model that period.

I am glad you enjoyed the video!
My father recalled that ore was transported in half-filled gondolas due to the weight.
One of the (little things) I'm also proud of it that I was able to back that train (not quite at that speed) the length of the layout back into the Staging Area without incident. That crossed about a dozen switches including a double cross-over.

Very nice. I am glad to see some train action after all of the progress reports that you have been posting.
rogruth wrote:I like the cabin car idea. And you can turn it off to "show" that the train has moved on. Cool.
Without seeing it, I would bet you don't need an overpass. I don't recall one in Steubenville
during that time except the river bridges. But I could be wrong.
If I remember, you are going to have operating sessions so why make it harder?.
You have got to be having FUN. That's what a hobby is for.
