New website protocol
Re: New website protocol
I think the https daemon is down on the server? The site is flipping back to the non secure format.

Noticed that -- also was getting a 507 error from the site yesterday; things are not quite right......
The owls may indeed not be what they seem but still serve an imperative function: they remind us to look into the darkness.

And, as I think Rufus mentioned, some changes were made in the Hobo Jungle.

Weirder and weirder. It seems that https is active on most of the screens, except this one!
Spoke/typed too soon. Now it's flipped back to http and not https. Must be a work in progress.
Another piece to the puzzle. I got a brief warning message that the site certificate may be invalid? These are digital encryption keys that are based on a bunch of information regarding the site that are fed into a program run by a certificate authority (CA) that are supposed to ensure that the site is really who it purports to be and allows the site to accept incoming https connections.
The detailed message indicates that the ca cert key is ok. That probably means the https daemon is still acting up.
