I’m not much on the whimsical play value of layouts. However I do like automation if it creates realism within the layout. Here is a test run of a back and forth logging line I’m hoping to incorporate into my 3 rail layout.
This auto reverser simplified things. It allows you to adjust the time delay with the turn of a dial. Praise the Lord because you know I’m an electrical nit wit!

Moving those logs pretty quickly,
