Nothing too exciting here. Found a nice Bing postal-baggage car on Dave's favorite site:

Never ceases to amaze me how an item can go for stupid money one week, and then a better example barely gets a sniff the next. Can it be that there's just one person out there looking at this stuff? Doubtful.

I'm thinking the vintage of this car is maybe ten years or so more recent as compared to the coaches I have:

Regardless, should make for a nice clockwork set to run around the wife's Christmas display.

My brother dropped off a few cartons of stuff he pulled out of the folks attic some 20 years ago, saying take what I want and pitch the rest. Didn't find much in there worth hanging onto besides a few books and a some other odds-n-ends, one being this Corgi Morris Mini-Minor from the mid-1960s:

Likely a gift from our world-travelling next-door neighbors, it has survived the intervening 60 years somehow, albeit missing 50% of its tires. I ordered a new set from http://www.recovertoy.com. Barring the worn paintwork, seems to have come through in relatively good shape.
