Weekend Photos - 9/21/18

Happy Friday & HAPPY FALL!

What happens when you are stuck inside all weekend b/c of a hurricane ? You do some layout work!

My son suggested that I expand the inside loop & lucky for us, I had some spare wood to do just that! The new loop brings it across Cowan Creek & around the entire board. Had to reconfigure a bunch of stuff to fit it, but I'm pretty happy w/ the result. I can now run longer trains on the inside loop & it doesn't look as cluttered.

My son is happy b/c 'now the 2 trains can race!' We also got nearly all the wiring done w/ the exception of 2 accessories that had to be relocated.

Glad to hear you guys made it through Florence unscathed. A lot of folks weren't so lucky. I have a few friends living near Fayetteville...what a freakin' mess.

The layout looks good - classic postwar. Did this replace the HO, or is that in another room?

We got a bunch of rain & a little leak in the roof, but no large trees down or anything like that. This replaced the HO layout. The kids just weren't into it at all & I had a buddy who wanted to get into HO, so it worked out well :)
