I have subscribed to Model Railroader since about 1971, so I guess inertia has kept me going since I haven't bought anything HO in about 20-25 years. Mostly N, Z and O three rail, with a little large scale. I'm promiscuous :). I still kind of like the magazine, but it does have more of a corporate feel, compared with OGR or OST. Cannot express it more specifically, except that it doesn't seem quite so personal and folksy as in previous days. Not a big Besougloff fan since he flapped his jaw stupidly and erroneously about the MTH vs. Lionel lawsuit as if that lawsuit had any real merit. Nonetheless always a bit sad to see someone badly treated as he apparently has been in this ending. A little compassion and respect are owed a man, even Willy Loman.
